  BBC RADIO INVITES LUCKY CHARMES FOR AN INTERVIEW AND GUESTMIX

  Lucky Charmes packed his bags for a 5 day trip to London where various studio sessions were scheduled, which delivered wicked collabs and amazing singles. While in London, to promote the UK release of his forthcoming single Get Outta That Corner, Lucky Charmes was invited to do an interview and guest mix on BBC Radio.

  Show host DJ Cameo, along with UK artist Preditah who delivered one of the remixes, submitted Lucky to an in-depth interview and afterwards, Lucky got behind the decks to perform a slamming live guest mix. Or as Cameo stated: “a sick dirty house mix”!

  LUCKY CHARMES SIGNS SINGLE AND ALBUM DEAL IN THE UK

  Teaming up with Dutch MC Perry Mystique and UK songstress Natalie May, Lucky Charmes churned out an amazing fusion of pumping house and street-wise urban in his latest offering "Get Outta That Corner", which definitely marks his finest work to date. The single got snapped up by one of the leading UK companies in EDM, All Around The World (a division of Universal Music). All Around The World can vouch for having the most # 1’s and top 5 singles in the official UK Singles Charts in the history of UK dance releases.

  Due for release on All Around The World in early 2012 and complimented with a slick video, this single already earned multiple plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Dutch radio broadcasters Radio 538, FunX Radio, Decibel Radio and many more, with impressive chart positions to show for as well. Even superstar DJ Tiësto pays his respect to Lucky Charmes and gave the track multiple spins during his Club Life radio show, targeting millions of clubbers tuning in.  

  Next to the United Kingdom, additional countries recognized the potential this single brings to the table. Record companies in Italy, South Africa, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, Poland and Scandinavia signed “Get Outta That Corner” for official release in 2012, with more labels to follow soon.

  Plans are in the making to release a full artist album on which Lucky Charmes is fortunate to collaborate with a fine selection of singer/songwriters, vocalists and co-producers. New Lucky Charmes singles are in the works and will feature artists such as Ida Corr, Eva Simmons, Mitch Crown, Joshua Khane, Jay Collin with more names to be announced.

  GLOBAL DJ BOOKINGS ARTISTS ON DANCEFAIR 2012

  Dancefair, held in Utrecht (The Netherlands) on the 11th and 12th of February, is an educational conference which focusses on all aspects in the electronic music scene. Gear workshops, track producing demonstrations by world renowned artists, presentations of the latest music software, you name it. Global DJ Bookings artists Artento Divini and Lucky Charmes both will be present on Dancefair to spread their knowledge.

  Artento Divini is to be found in the Get Involved Room where he’ll participate in the seminar “The Road To Success” alongside Vato Gonzalez and The Viper.  

  Lucky Charmes will be hosting no less than four seminars in the DJ Playground Room where he’ll explain all tips and tricks about the art of DJ-ing, ffx use and various DJ techniques.

  DIRTY HERZ REMIXES THE NEW BROOKLYN BOUNCE SINGLE

  All hail South Africa!
  
  Johannesburg based duo Dirty Herz are rapidly and firmly putting South Africa on the international music map. With globally acclaimed remixes for the likes of Marco V, Robin S, Cosmic Gate, Solarstone, Lock n Load, Dj Misjah, Ruff Driverz and remix requests pouring in on a daily basis, these boys certainly enjoy the bright international spotlight they currently find themselves in.

  Their most recent remix assignment is for German hit group Brooklyn Bounce. Dirty Herz took the downtempo original version and transformed it into a pumping, peak-time progressive monster with a pinch of Dutch House. Out soon on Mental Madness Records in Germany!

  Nope is Dope Volume 11 – mixed and compiled by Lucky Charmes

  The Nope Is Dope series is considered to be one of the most successful Dutch compilation concepts. With editions compiled and mixed by A-list artists like Nicky Romero, Sidney Samson, Gregor Salto, Quintino, DJ Gregory, Bassjackers and others, the Nope Is Dope series always is a sure shot for quality. For Volume 11, DJ/producer Lucky Charmes was asked to compile and mix one of the discs, the other disc being done by Lucien Foort.

  Lucky Charmes put together a tracklist consisting of 22 tracks and fused them into a raging energetic mix of Dutch house, progressive, big room and latin house. Kicking off his mix with his own production Get Outta That Corner, Lucky selected only the best tracks the current scene has to offer from artists such as Axwell, Benny Benassi, Mastiksoul, Chuckie, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Swanky Tunes and many more.
