  Nope is Dope Volume 11 – mixed and compiled by Lucky Charmes

  The Nope Is Dope series is considered to be one of the most successful Dutch compilation concepts. With editions compiled and mixed by A-list artists like Nicky Romero, Sidney Samson, Gregor Salto, Quintino, DJ Gregory, Bassjackers and others, the Nope Is Dope series always is a sure shot for quality. For Volume 11, DJ/producer Lucky Charmes was asked to compile and mix one of the discs, the other disc being done by Lucien Foort.

  Lucky Charmes put together a tracklist consisting of 22 tracks and fused them into a raging energetic mix of Dutch house, progressive, big room and latin house. Kicking off his mix with his own production Get Outta That Corner, Lucky selected only the best tracks the current scene has to offer from artists such as Axwell, Benny Benassi, Mastiksoul, Chuckie, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Swanky Tunes and many more.

  Melvin Reese – All Day All Night gets official single release

  After his chart topper L.O.I.S. and dance floor bomb Kazachstan, Melvin Reese returns with the brand new single All Day All Night; a high quality, feel-good, full vocal house gem blessed with an irresistible groove. The globally acclaimed Dutch DJ/producer (and Melvin’s good buddy) Rene Amesz (Toolroom, Ministry of Sound) grabbed the original, stripped down the vocals, added his trademark rocking beats and hands in a fantastic piece of beat-driven madness in a vocal and dub version. Dutch duo Sick Individuals reworks the original into a bouncy, widely appealing club stormer to complete the package.

  The single now has been signed to Dutch company NEWS Records, scheduled for full commercial single release in December 2011. Stay tuned for more news!

  Dreaming (Dirty Herz Remix) is Tune of the Week on Dance-Tunes!

  Sometimes a bootleg is just too damn good to only use it for DJ sets and Soundcloud marketing. Sometimes a bootleg is simply so amazing, it just needs to get out there officially. This is one of those cases. South African bad boys Dirty Herz have always been huge fans of the humongous 1998 club classic, but it lacked a pumping peak-time mix for their sets. After they did a limited mail out to some key tastemakers with their version, their Dirty Herz Remix already may count on DJ support from a.o. Tiësto, Vato Gonzalez and Marcel Woods.
  
  The bootleg turned into an official remix, became Tune Of The Week on Dutch leading download portal Dance-Tunes and is now available on Selekted’s sublabel Powerhouse in close cooperation with Maelstrom Records / New State, one of the finest UK labels around and home of a.o. Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten and Robbie Rivera.

  The Darkraver performs at New Kids Nitro movie premiere

  From a raging closing set on Lowlands spinning in front of thousands of rock-minded people, performing on the world’s largest hardcore events playing harder styles, rocking the biggest house events with a solid house set or showing up at an occasional wedding to play some tunes, The Darkraver has seen some crazy places in his career and he loves it all.

   

  A new milestone for The Darkraver is his gig during the premiere of the New Kids Nitro movie on Tuesday the 6^th of December in cinema Pathé De Kuip in Rotterdam. Together with the notorious duo Flamman & Abraxas, better known as the happy hardcore act Party Animals, The Darkraver turned the cinema lobby into a rampage and rocked the New Kids fanclub members between 21:00 and 21:45, prior to the movie itself which started at 22:00.

  Robin S – Be Thankful hits #7 in the ADE 2011 Buzz Charts

  The comeback of house diva Robin S doesn't go by unnoticed. Her current single Shake It is getting huge love globally and is released worldwide, her performance on the Selekted showcase was truly amazing, and her follow up single Be Thankful became the talk of ADE 2011. Tradition wise, the UK Buzz Charts compiles a top 30 of the biggest ADE tracks, where Be Thankful entered on a whopping # 7!

  Our very own Corey Gibbons, the executive producer of the forthcoming Robin S singles and album, is in the process of producing additional commercial mixes as well as club versions.
